Save the map below for your next coffee run.
1. The Haven Bakehouse 5041 N Rainbow Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89130
The Haven Bakehouse is one of those Northwest Las Vegas spots you could easily drive past without realizing it’s there. But it is one of my favorite coffee spots. The cafe area is open and modern. If you are looking for a space to enjoy your coffee with friends or do some work there is plenty of Space.
Located on the first floor of Oasis Church on Rainbow Boulevard. Jen the pastor’s wife run and bakes everything. Her pastry treats are absolutely delicious and I can’t go there without bringing some home.
The cafe and bakery is open to the public and offers coffee, baked goods and breakfast options. The church describes The Haven as a community cafe and bakery, and its current schedule is Wednesday through Saturday from 8 am-2pm.
If you’re in the 89130 area or traveling along US-95, this is one to keep on your local coffee list.
2. Aspire Coffee House 10111 W Skye Canyon Park Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89166
If you’re exploring Skye Canyon, Aspire Coffee House is especially worth knowing about.
Aspire is located inside Skye Center in the Skye Canyon master-planned community. In addition to coffee and espresso drinks, its menu includes tea, smoothies and food options. Skye Canyon’s own community information identifies Aspire as one of the amenities available at Skye Center.
The inside space is farmhouse modern and they have outdoor seating. During the fall and winter months the outdoor patio is extremely pleasant to sit and enjoy your coffee.
It’s a good example of one of the lifestyle details people often don’t discover until they start spending time inside a neighborhood.
3. Little Avalon 6584 N Decatur Blvd #100, Las Vegas, NV 89131
Little Avalon’s North Decatur location brings its coastal-cafe concept to the Northwest Las Vegas area.
The cafe offers much more than coffee, with breakfast, bowls, smoothies, toast and other all-day cafe options. Its restaurant group currently lists the North Decatur location at 6584 N Decatur Blvd #100.
This is a good option when you’re looking for coffee but also want breakfast, brunch or a more substantial meal. I love their seasonal drinks. Right now one of my favorites is Pumpkin Cookie Cold brew.
4. Coffee Religion 7565 Norman Rockwell Ln, Las Vegas, NV 89143
Coffee Religion is a specialty coffee shop located on Norman Rockwell Lane in Northwest Las Vegas.
Their menu includes espresso drinks, cold brew, matcha, tea, pastries and breakfast options, along with several signature drinks. The Las Vegas location currently operates daily and is located inside The Village of Centennial Springs.
If you like trying something beyond a standard latte, this is one of the shops on the list with plenty of specialty drink options. When my daughter worked there she introduced me to some of their most delicious drinks. I love the Maple Reeves iced latte.
5. Grouchy John's Coffee
6720 Sky Pointe Dr Ste B, Las Vegas, NV 89131
Grouchy John’s Coffee has a Northwest Las Vegas location on Sky Pointe Drive in the 89131 ZIP code.
In addition to traditional coffee and espresso drinks, the menu includes specialty beverages, smoothies, breakfast sandwiches, toast, wraps and pastries. Their Sky Pointe location is currently open seven days a week.
This is one of the more established local coffee names on the list and a convenient stop for people living around the Sky Pointe and Centennial Hills area. It’s right down the street from Target and the staff is very friendly.
6. Better Days 8635 W Rome Blvd Suite 100, Las Vegas, NV 89149
Better Days combines specialty coffee with matcha, açaí bowls, smoothies, breakfast items, sandwiches and toast.
Its Rome Boulevard location sits in the Centennial area of Northwest Las Vegas, and the company describes the cafe as a neighborhood space built around coffee, food and community.
It’s another option to keep in mind when you want something to eat along with your coffee rather than simply grabbing a drink and leaving.
This coffee shop is one of my daughter’s favorite local coffee shops. The chai and the avocado toast is absolutely delicious.
7. Aware Coffee 5590 Painted Mirage Rd Suite 130, Las Vegas, NV 89149
Aware Coffee’s Centennial location is located on Painted Mirage Road in the 89149 ZIP code. It is located right next to Cookie Crumble.
Aware has multiple locations throughout the Las Vegas Valley, but its Centennial shop makes it an easy local option for people living in Northwest Las Vegas.
Their menu is known for coffee and espresso drinks along with matcha and rotating specialty options. The kids always love the boba options but my favorite is the brown sugar creme late.
Coffee Shops Around Centennial Hills: Which One Should You Try?
One thing I like about living in Northwest Las Vegas is that different parts of the area have their own everyday places to discover.
If you’re near 89131, Little Avalon, and Grouchy John’s may be convenient options.
Around 89149, you’ll find Better Days and Aware Coffee.
If you drive a little further down Ann and Rainbow in 89130 Haven Bakehouse is your coffee shop.
Head farther northwest toward Skye Canyon and 89166, and Aspire Coffee House gives you another local option.
And that’s exactly why I recommend looking beyond the house itself when you’re deciding where you want to live.
Where you grab coffee, shop for groceries, spend your weekends and run your everyday errands all become part of what living in a neighborhood actually feels like.
